Teifi and Cych Cottage Access Statement

These two cottages are very similar in that they form the other two properties in the terrace and are both accessed via doors measuring 68cm with raised thresholds of 7cm.

• Open plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area – carpeted in lounge but with slate slabs floor in other areas. By its nature the slate may be a little uneven.
• All counter tops are a standard 90cm high.
• Small downstairs cloakrooms with standard wc., and wash hand basin facilities are accessed through lobby/hall.
• Pre-payment electricity meter is situated in lobby/hall at a height of 1.8m.
• Staircases in both cottages are fairly steep but enclosed and with handrails on either side. From the raised plinth at the bottom of each staircase, is a run of some nine steps to the first floor.
• Bedrooms and bathrooms are built into the eaves, which give restricted height in some areas.
• Bathrooms are fitted with standard suites and have hand-held shower attachments.
• Bedroom & bathroom doors all open into the rooms and are no less than 75cm wide.
• The master bedroom in each cottage contains a 4’6” double bed (in each case the head of the bed is under the eaves) with wardrobe and dressing table plus bedside tables.
• The second bedroom in Cych cottage has two 2’3” single beds whilst Teifi cottage has three along with fitted wardrobe/dressing table/bedside table.
